Vineyard notes: The fruit in this wine is from vines 35 years old. The vines are head trained and on a south east facing slope.
Tasting Notes: The aroma of this wine shows blackberry, graphite and coco hulls.
The palate is tart with flavors of coco nib, rhubarb, black cherry tart, red plum and a hint of black pepper.
Winemaking: The fruit was 100% destemmed .The must was kept cool and protected from air. This wine underwent an all-native fermentation. The wine was aged 18 months in neutral French oak barrels
