Viognier is one of those wines you might need to try few different ones to find the one you will fall in love with. The style of wine can range from fresh and flinty to full body and textured. Anne Pichon is somewhere in the middle and it will certainly not disappoint. Lively aromatics of white flowers and stone fruit, vibrant and pleasant. On the pallet, it shows some weight with flavors of fleshy white fruit nicely balanced out by stony minerality. It’s a great white for fall and winter seasons that will stand up to heartier meals. And since it doesn’t have very sharp acids, it will pair well with some spicey foods too. Small production, certified organic and made with minimal intervention, you can’t go wrong with that!
