The life of an oak barrel is a journey. For our barrels, the journey begins with expert craftsmen that select the finest trees in an American oak forest to char and shape into barrels. From here, the barrels travel to the Midwest before continuing on to our California cellar, where a portion of our Chardonnay is aged for three months in bourbon barrels. Traditional oak flavors such as vanilla combine with creamy caramel and toffee flavors, imparting distinct layers of complexity onto this wine.
